A racecourse grandstand and turf track

Trial performance

See how a trial really compares

Filter trial and trackwork times by condition, surface, weight, distance, venue and type, and set them against winning times in similar conditions.

What it does

Trial performance by track

  • Filter by conditions

Distance, session type, track condition, surface, weight and venue. Going uses the Racing NSW scale from Firm 1 to Heavy 10.

  • Venues grouped by state

NSW tracks carry club, class, circumference and straight from the Racing NSW Reference Manual. Victorian tracks carry the measurements Racing Victoria's guide prints.

  • Winning-time benchmarks

Add public winning times to compare your horses against winners in similar conditions.

  • Slowest to fastest

The trials board draws horses from slowest to fastest, so the comparison is easy to read.

  • Bring in a trial sheet

Check a trial sheet, then save it as ordinary trackwork. Saved rows aren't shared automatically.

  • What owners see

Owners see their own horses' times. Another horse's name and time appear only when that session was shared.
