Owner accounts

Know who owes what, and how old it is

One account per owner with the balance, ageing and every invoice, receipt and credit, plus an aged debtors report and a follow-up list.

What it does

Owner accounts & aged debtors

  • Owner accounts

Balance, unused credit, ageing and every invoice, receipt, credit note and owner credit in one place.

  • Credits and payments on account

Record a credit or payment, apply it to the oldest invoices, refund or reverse unused credit, or credit a horse split by share to the cent.

  • Move charges to another owner

Pick lines from sent invoices and move them. The first owner is credited and the new owner is charged on their next statement. Sent invoices never change.

  • Aged debtors

Current, 1–30, 31–60, 61–90 and 90+ days, plus in dispute, as at any date, by owner or by horse, with a CSV download.

  • Overdue follow-up

See who's due a chase today. Log calls, emails, promises to pay and holds with the next follow-up date, all kept in the owner's history.

  • Statements with your letterhead

Any date range, with opening and running balance, ageing, your bank details and a remittance slip.

  • Receipts

Record payments against invoices. A receipt can't be more than what's still owing.

  • Write-offs

Write off one invoice or everything an owner owes, with a reason recorded.

On the way

Coming soon

  • Overdue reminder emails Coming soon

Draft reminder email already writes a reminder listing only that owner's overdue invoices, for you to copy and send. Sending it from Stability is coming soon.

  • Weekly direct debit Coming soon

Australian direct debit for owners is built and not switched on yet.

Good to know. Each owner carries only their own share. A disputed line is held out of overdue and the rest stays due. Invoices without a due date fall due at the end of the month they're sent. For GST on write-offs, check the tax treatment with your accountant.
